Furnace Repair

The Proven Furnace Repair Experts

Being concerned about your comfort shouldn’t be something to think about as seasons transform and temperatures drop in Atlanta. It’s important to remember that even as you transition from using your air conditioner to a furnace, both systems operate independently and should be managed as such so you can avoid AC and furnace repairs. After all, you don’t want to be confronted with your furnace going out in the course of the coldest part of winter.

We have pretty much seen all that the Atlanta weather can throw our way, and we’re here to make sure you’re prepared even when it seems like the weather can’t get any more unpredictable. We grasp that if you’re contacting us at 3 a.m., all you want is for your furnace to be fixed quickly, and correctly, the first time around so you can get back to having a safe home. That’s why our team of NATE-certified technicians is accessible at any hour, day or night, to take responsibility of any furnace repair you may oblige. Plus, our team has the knowledge and expertise to repair your furnace regardless of the make, model or age. You can unwind knowing that we can take care of any adversity that may come up.

Of course we also must say that we extremely recommend that you have annual furnace service completed so that you’re not stuck contacting us in the middle of the night with cold home. There are also a few things that you can check yourself prior to calling us, so if you do end up calling, we’ll both be on the same page and know that these simple things have already been looked at.

  • Do you have the thermostat set to “heat”? – Once brisk weather finally settles in for good, it can be common to forget that you need to have your thermostat turned over to “heat.” It happens a lot more often than you’d think, so be sure you double-check your thermostat and its setting.
  • Is the furnace switch on? – Commonly on the side of your furnace, the furnace switch looks like a normal light switch and should be flipped up, or on. If it’s not, flip the switch on, and once the built-in time delay period has ran, your furnace will turn back on. The time delay is typically only a couple minutes.
  • Have you changed your furnace filter? – Forgotten about more than people woud like to admit, furnace filters play a large role in the performance and efficiency of your system. There’s also a possibility that it could prevent your furnace from functioning at all. Be sure to swap your furnace filter out every three months for maximum performance.
  • Look at your circuit breaker – Another switch to check is your circuit breaker. If the breaker switch for your furnace is tripped, you can cycle it off and then back on. Doing so should allow the system to kick back on. If it doesn’t, give us a ring and we can work together to figure out what the problem is.
