Service Experts Family Giving One Lucky Family a Furnace

February 22, 2016

Christmas is well behind us but BW/Cook Service Experts is continuing the season of giving into February. The HVAC and plumbing company who serves the communities surrounding Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana, is partnering with ABC-57 in South Bend to give a one lucky home a brand new Lennox furnace.

“We were excited to help a family stay safe and warm during the winter months,” said Mick Hoeflinger, General Manager of BW/Cook Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning. “We were fortunate to be able to partner with Lennox and ABC-57 to give away a new furnace to a local family.”

The winning family will get an ML 195 model furnace from Lennox, one of the industry’s premier names in heating and air conditioning equipment. The unit normally costs approximately $4,500. The ML 195 has an AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating of 95%, so it will save the winners money over time through lower energy bills. BW/Cook Service Expert’s qualified and professional technicians, who are mastered in installing a wide assortment of makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment, will install the furnace and walk the new owners through the best operating procedures.

BW/Cook Service Experts is always delighted to be involved with their community. Currently, they are sponsoring a local youth hockey team at the Ice Box Skating Rink, a local ice skating rink in South Bend. They will also be sponsoring numerous local teams this spring and summer, including the Concord Baseball Team in Elkhart.

“We have been an integral part of our community since 1911. We truly care about the comfort of our customers, and it means the world to us to bring a little extra comfort to a family who may be in need,” said Hoeflinger.

This isn’t the only time Service Experts has stepped in to help a community member in need. A few years ago, Service Experts upgraded the heating and cooling system of a family in the Valparaiso, Indiana area. The family’s five-year old son was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor and, because of his compromised immune system, the indoor air quality of his home was essential to protecting his health. In 2014, Roy Inch and Sons Service Experts in Canada donated a complete new HVAC system, as well as installation, to a widowed immigrant mother of two boys. That same year, Gordon’s Service Experts donated a brand new HVAC system to a family who lost everything in a house fire.

To enter the furnace giveaway though February 26th, watch ABC-57 weeknights at 6:00 p.m. and watch for the code word. Then, enter the code word at ABC-57.com. Entries are limited to once per day using that day’s code word.

Be warm and well-informed with BW/Cook Service Experts, Lennox, and ABC-57.
